EVERY HIGH MOUNTAIN LOG HOME INCLUDES:

Top quality full length logs ranging in size from a minimum of 10" diameter to a maximum of 20" diameter

Log species to be determined by customer

Log walls 9 feet high or higher upon request

Each log hand-peeled and full length scribed, using a saddlenotch corner or a corner of your choice

All window and doorway openings cut to size, keywayed and flared back and sanded

Log beams and floor joists cut level for second floor or loft

Log ridge beams and purlins cut to correct roof pitch

Interior and exterior of log package is sanded

All exterior corners are curled and sanded

All thru bolts with springs supplied on exterior corners

Drift pins around window openings and spline material for doors and windows

All settling jacks supplied where needed

Fibreglass insulation in all corners and lateral notches

Sill gasket provided for the bottom log

Log stairs of mortise and tenon construction (optional)

Log railings pre-built in sections for stairs, decks, lofts, and balconies (optional)

One logsmith to help with the re-assembly of your log home shell on your foundation

A FREE WEEKEND STAY at our completely reconstructed, original "Gold Rush" log guest house situated on the family cattle ranch and minutes from our log building yard. Enjoy yourself while watching your log home being built!

Constant communication with our log yard staff and you, and your contractor

At High Mountain Log Homes, we supply the customer with a top quality, hand-crafted log package. Pricing is directly related to the overall size of the building, to the type of log specified, to the design specifications, and complexity of the project. Log reassembly generally takes 1 - 3 days after which a qualified local contractor can finish your home.
